Blackboard Learn, D2L Brightspace, and Moodle permit answer choices for individual multiple choice/multiple response questions to be randomized during an exam. Respondus 4 supports this feature by offering a checkbox in the Edit tab above the answer list labelled "Randomize" or "Randomized Answers".

The "Randomize" setting of individual questions can by enabled by default in Respondus->File->Preferences->Edit & Publish->"Randomize answers in Multiple Choice/Response" when creating new questions including importing questions from a text file. Note: Existing questions are not changed.

For Instructure Canvas, the answer choices can be randomized by selecting "Shuffle answers" from the Settings menu.

Moodle also has a global "Always shuffle answers" in Settings->General.
