Respondus 4 supports the export of questions as IMS QTI 1.2 XML files. Some faculty also use the option to save as Blackboard Learn pool files if the LMS supports the import of these files.

One possible workaround is to use Moodle as an intermediary where you publish the Respondus files to a Moodle course and then export the questions as a GIFT file for import into Adobe Captivate and other LMSs that support the GIFT format for import.

Moodle can be installed on desktop or notebook computer (https://download.moodle.org/windows/ or https://download.moodle.org/macosx/ ), with the addition of the Respondus Web Services module (http://www.respondus.com/download/moodleserver.shtml )

The other option is to use Respondus-Preview & Publish-Print Options-"Save to File", open the file in a text editor for final formatting as a GIFT file.
