The import tool in Respondus 4 does not support the importing of embedded images except when using MS Word document formats (DOC and DOCX). However, it is possible to import images with a rich-text file and plain text file by placing the tag [img: "filename.jpg"] at each location in the text file where the image should appear. The images must be stored in a single folder which must then be specified during the import process.

Note: This is a legacy option primary for publishers building test banks. All other users should import Word .doc and .docx file with embedded images.
