Respondus 4 cannot import files with a proprietary assessment or pool format saved from a learning management system, such as the .zip format with Blackboard Learn or the .xml format with Moodle. Instead, retrieve the assessments or question databases directly from the supported learning management system using the "Retrieve Questions" feature under the Retrieval menu.

Note: If a learning management system supports the exporting of QTI 1.2 files -- which is the IMS specifications for question and test interoperability -- it may be possible to import those files with Respondus 4.
