The latest release of Respondus Monitor (May 29, 2025) includes several features of note.

• Excel support – An instructor setting now enables students to access MS Excel during a Respondus Monitor exam. For more details, visit Using Excel with Respondus Monitor

• Review status updates automatically -- Instructors previously had to select a checkbox to update the “Reviewed” status for a student’s proctoring results. The status now updates automatically when the results are viewed by the instructor.

• Administrative report for reviewed sessions – A new administrator report offers information regarding the percentage of proctoring sessions that have been reviewed by instructors. From the administrator area on Respondus.com, select “Respondus Monitor Usage Reports”. From the “Custom Report” section, select “Reviewed Sessions.” Data for this report is available from this date onward.
