Windows LockDown Browser version 2.0.1.02 – Auto Update Notice

LockDown Browser version 2.0.1.02 (Windows) has been available for new installations or by using "Check for Update" since June 29, 2016.  Beginning Wednesday July 27, 2016, this update will be pushed to student installations of LockDown Browser using the Auto Update feature. The update will occur during the startup of LockDown Browser.

The Lab Edition of LockDown Browser will NOT be affected by this update, nor will the Mac and iOS versions of LockDown Browser.

Mac LockDown Browser version 1.0.8.06

LockDown Browser client for Mac, version 1.0.8.06, has been released. This update includes fixes for the Blackboard Learn, Brightspace, and Schoology integrations. Improvements to the browser zoom functionality are also included.

LockDown Browser: Version 1 End-of-Life – June 30, 2016

On June 30, 2016 the "Lab Edition" of LockDown Browser 1.x for Windows (based on Internet Explorer) will reach end of life.  It will cease functioning after this date. You must update the Lab Edition of LockDown Browser for Windows prior to this time.  We strongly recommend performing the update as soon as possible.
